We look forward to hosting you at Blue Bonnet Hill.
Our friendly and knowledgeable Student Ambassadors will lead you on a 60-minute walking tour of our vibrant campus. Along the way, they’ll share their experiences, answer your questions, and give you an inside look at life at Blue Bonnet Hill as you prepare to take the next step in your educational journey.
What to Bring
Your tour confirmation (email or calendar invite)
A valid photo ID
Upon arrival, all visitors and vendors are required to check in with Campus Safety at the main entrance or designated checkpoint before beginning their tour.

Important for the safety of our community, entry may be declined if a visitor does not have written confirmation of their tour, and we are unable to verify the reservation after reasonable attempts.
Questions & Answers
Yes, reservations are required. You must complete our registration form and wait for a confirmation email from the Office of Recruitment and Admission before your tour is scheduled.
Please allow 48 to 72 hours for processing during peak times. Tours are not guaranteed until you receive an email confirmation from the Office of Recruitment and Admission.
All tours begin at the Agard-Lovinggood Building. Please note that all visitors must stop at the security booth for campus access.
Tours last about an hour and include stops at the Center for Academic Excellence, the Davage-Durden Student Union, and a look at several of our historic buildings.
Once a tour is full, it is unlikely that we will be able to accommodate additional guests. However, you are welcome to reach out to Donna Jones at HustonTillotsonUniversityCampusTours@htu.edu or call 5125053137 to see if arrangements can be made.
All visitors must enter the campus through the east entrance at 810 Chalmers Street. Guests will be directed to the Agard-Lovinggood Building, where the tours will begin.

The walking tour will take approximately 1 hour
Yes, all of our tours are walking tours. If anyone in your group requires ADA accommodations—such as wheelchair assistance or other support—please contact us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Residence hall tours are contingent upon availability.
The tour will be a walking tour of campus. Please dress according to the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
If you are 15 minutes late, your tour will be considered a “self-guided” tour.
You are welcome to bring as many guests as you would like on the tour. (Up to but no more than 10 including yourself)
Your tour does not include a meeting with an academic advisor. However, if you would like to speak with an advisor from your intended major, we can help connect you with the department to schedule a separate appointment or you can schedule an advising appointment here.
Yes. Guests and students may dine in the Dining Hall for $9.00 per person (this is also the group rate). Dining hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Due to the heavy volume during this time, we recommend your group plans to eat at 11:00 a.m.
- We welcome groups of prospective students to Huston-Tillotson University. A group is defined as 20 or more students, with a maximum of 100 students per visit.
All Group Tours start in the Agard-Lovinggood Auditorium, and reservations are required.

If your group arrives 15 minutes late, the tour will be canceled and must be rescheduled.
Middle school tours are not offered.
Some high school and college registrar offices may require documentation for students to receive an excused absence for participating in a campus tour.
The Office of Recruitment and Admission can provide a visit letter upon request.
The letter will be prepared on official Huston-Tillotson University letterhead and will include the exact date of the tour.
To be eligible for a visit letter, students must complete the entire campus tour accompanied by an HT Tour Guide.
